StoreRuns – 3-Slide "Leave-Behind" Pitch Deck

Print this on 3 pages (A4 or Letter) and leave one copy with the manager/owner after the meeting.

SLIDE 1 — The Problem

Headline

"Your customers are already shopping online. They're just not shopping with you."

Body (3 bullets)

  • Shoppers increasingly expect delivery to their door – but building an online store, hiring a tech team, and coordinating drivers is expensive and slow.
  • Walk-in traffic is unpredictable. Rain, fuel prices, or a competitor's promo can empty your aisles for a day.
  • Every order that gets placed on a competitor's app is a customer relationship you don't own.

Visual suggestion

A simple split image: left – empty aisle; right – phone screen showing a competitor's app.

Footer

"Digital grocery is not the future. It's already here – the only question is whether it's you or someone else serving your neighborhood."

SLIDE 2 — The StoreRuns Solution

Headline

"A ready-to-launch, branded online store for your supermarket – live in 48 hours."

What you get (4 bullets, with icons/checkmarks)

  • Your branded storefront – your name, logo, and products. Not a marketplace, not a middleman brand.
  • Multi-branch support – customers pick the branch closest to them; orders route automatically.
  • Automatic delivery fees – distance calculated on the map, charged to the customer, not you.
  • WhatsApp-powered delivery – no app to install for drivers; orders are tracked from packed → out for delivery → delivered.

Proof / features to mention verbally

  • Customer signup, order history, and re-order in one tap.
  • Recurring orders (weekly grocery runs) built in.
  • PDF receipts, admin dashboard, live tracking timeline.
  • Works on any phone – no App Store install needed (PWA).

Visual suggestion

Three phone-frame screenshots side-by-side:

  1. Home page with the Merchant's cover image.
  2. Category page with checklist-style products.
  3. Order tracking timeline.

SLIDE 3 — The Ask

Headline

"Try it free for 30 days. Zero cost. Zero risk. Zero lock-in."

The offer (large, bold)

TrialStandard Plan (optional)
30 days FREEK150 / month per branch
No cardNo commission per order
No commissionCancel anytime with 7 days' notice
No lock-in

Why this is safe for you (3 bullets)

  • We build and launch your store at our cost.
  • You keep 100% of every sale during the trial.
  • If it doesn't move the needle for you in 30 days, walk away – no fees, no paperwork drama.

The single next step (call to action)

"Give us your logo, your top 30 products, and one branch address. We'll have your store live within 48 hours. Can we start today?"

Talking-point cheatsheet (do NOT print – keep on your phone)

  1. Lead with the free trial. Say the word "free" in the first 30 seconds.
  2. If they hesitate, ask: "What would need to be true for you to say yes?"
  3. Never argue. Take notes. Follow up in 48 hours by WhatsApp.
  4. If they say "send me info," always book the follow-up meeting before you leave – "Great – can I show you the live demo on Thursday at 10?"
037 cold-open / follow-up / objection scripts you can copy-paste.

StoreRuns – WhatsApp Outreach Scripts

Cold-open messages you can copy-paste to supermarket owners, managers, or the store's main WhatsApp Business number. Replace bracketed placeholders before sending.

MESSAGE 1 — First cold open (recommended default)

Short, friendly, ends with a question so they must reply.

Hi [First name] 👋 I'm [Your name] from StoreRuns.

We build ready-to-use online delivery storefronts for local supermarkets – branded with your name, not ours. Multi-branch, WhatsApp-based delivery, automatic distance-based delivery fees.

I'd love to set up [Supermarket name] on the platform free for 30 days so you can see the orders come in before you pay a single kwacha.

Would you have 10 minutes this week for me to show you a live demo? 🙏

MESSAGE 2 — If they don't reply after 48 hours (polite bump)

Hi [First name], just floating this one back to the top of your chat in case it got buried 😊

Quick recap: free 30-day trial, we set up your online store, orders come in via WhatsApp, you pay nothing until you're convinced.

Would Thursday or Friday work better for a 10-minute demo?

MESSAGE 3 — If they say "send me more info"

Absolutely. Here's a 1-page summary 👇

• Your branded online store live in 48 hours • Free 30 days, then K150/branch/month if you decide to keep it – cancel anytime • No commission on orders. You keep 100% of every sale. • Live demo you can try right now: https://storeruns.online

When you've had a look, can I call you tomorrow at 10am to answer questions? 🙏

MESSAGE 4 — If they say "we already do our own deliveries"

That's actually the best time to plug in StoreRuns 🚀

We don't replace your drivers – we feed them orders online so they're not idle. Customers order on the site, the order lands on your WhatsApp, your existing team delivers.

Can I show you exactly how that flow works? 10 minutes, promise.

MESSAGE 5 — If they say "how much?"

During the trial: K0. Zero.

After 30 days: K150 per branch per month, flat. No commissions. No hidden fees. Cancel anytime with 7 days' notice.

Most owners take the trial just to see the first weekend of orders – no reason to say no to free 😊 Can we set you up this week?

MESSAGE 6 — If they say "not right now / maybe later"

Totally understand 🙏 I'll check back with you in [30 / 60] days.

In the meantime, if it helps, here's the live demo: https://storeruns.online – feel free to send it to your team.

Whenever you're ready, the 30-day free trial offer stands. Have a great week! ✨

MESSAGE 7 — After a successful in-person visit (follow-up same day)

Hi [First name], great meeting you today at [Supermarket name] 🙌

As promised, I only need three things to get your store live within 48 hours:

  1. Your logo (any format)
  2. A list of your top 30 products (name + price is enough – I'll take care of images)
  3. The address of the branch we're starting with

Send them here whenever you're ready and I'll take it from there 🚀

Tips for using these scripts

  • Personalize the first line with the manager's name and one specific detail you noticed (e.g., "loved the fresh-bread section by the entrance").
  • Never send more than one message without a reply. Bumps come 48h later.
  • Voice notes convert better than text if you already know the person – re-record Message 1 as a 20-second voice note.
  • Attach the 3-slide PDF (once exported) to Message 3 or Message 7.
  • Track responses in a simple spreadsheet: Store name | Contact | Date sent | Reply status | Next action.
04Top 8 objections you'll hear from supermarket owners + rebuttals.

StoreRuns – Objection Handling FAQ

Bundle this with the pitch deck. Top 8 objections you'll hear from supermarket owners, with rebuttals that keep the conversation moving toward a "yes".

1. "We already have loyal walk-in customers. Why do we need this?"

Rebuttal: Loyal customers are exactly who this is for. Online ordering doesn't steal walk-ins – it captures the days they wouldn't have come in (rain, sick kids, working late). It's incremental revenue, not cannibalized revenue.

2. "How much is this really going to cost me?"

Rebuttal: During the trial – K0. Full stop. After 30 days if you decide to stay: K150/branch/month, flat. No commissions, no hidden setup fees, no cancellation penalty. If it doesn't pay for itself in the first week, cancel and walk.

3. "We don't have staff to manage online orders."

Rebuttal: You don't need new staff. Orders land on the WhatsApp number you already check. Your existing till operator or floor manager can confirm and pack them in under 2 minutes each. We're not adding a job – we're adding a channel to an existing job.

4. "What about delivery? We don't have drivers."

Rebuttal: Neither do most stores at the start – that's why StoreRuns coordinates independent drivers via WhatsApp. Customers pay the delivery fee, not you. Once you're doing 10+ orders a day, you can bring it in-house if you want, or keep using our network. Either way, delivery is not your headache.

5. "What if a competitor sees your platform and copies it?"

Rebuttal: They can, but the first-mover in every neighborhood usually keeps 60–70% of the online share. Every week you wait is a week your competitor could sign up first. The free trial removes the reason to delay.

6. "Our customers don't shop online / don't have smartphones."

Rebuttal: Two things. First – smartphone penetration is now over 80% in urban areas, and the StoreRuns storefront works on any phone (no app install needed). Second – you don't need every customer to shop online. You need 20 households a day. That's a rounding error to us and real revenue to you.

7. "What happens to my brand? Is this like a marketplace?"

Rebuttal: No – this is not a marketplace. Your store, your logo, your branch names, your products. Customers land directly on your storefront. StoreRuns is the plumbing behind the scenes. Your brand is front and center; we're invisible.

8. "Send me some information and I'll get back to you."

Rebuttal: (This usually means "no." Take it seriously and lock in a next step.) "Absolutely – I'll send the 1-pager to you now on WhatsApp. Rather than losing this in your inbox, could we do a 10-minute live demo Thursday morning? I'll come to you, show you exactly how orders flow, and if it's not for you we shake hands and I'm out."

Golden rules

  1. Never argue. Agree, then reframe.
  2. Always take the meeting one step further. Never leave without a scheduled next action.
  3. Silence is your friend. After stating the offer, stop talking. Let them process.
  4. Free trial is your superpower. Repeat it any time the conversation stalls.
051-page day-one walkthrough. Login → first product → first fulfilled order.

StoreRuns – Store Admin Quick-Start Guide

A 1-page "day one" walkthrough for supermarket staff. Print it, hand it over on trial-signup day, and your first live order can happen the same afternoon.

Goal: From zero to your first confirmed online order in under 60 minutes.

Before you start — you need three things

  1. Your login email + password (given to you by StoreRuns).
  2. Your store logo (any image – PNG or JPG).
  3. A list of your top 30 products with names + prices (a phone photo of a printed price list works fine).

Step 1 — Log in (2 minutes)

  1. On your phone or laptop, open https://storeruns.online.
  2. Tap Login (top-right corner).
  3. Enter the email and password provided by StoreRuns.
  4. You'll land on the Admin Dashboard. The banner at the top says "[Your Supermarket] Admin Dashboard."

🟢 If you can see your store name in the banner, you're in the right place.

Step 2 — Add your first product (5 minutes)

  1. From the dashboard, tap Products.
  2. Tap ➕ Add Product (green button, top right).
  3. Fill in:
    • Name – e.g. "Sunlight Soap 500g"
    • Category – pick from the list (Groceries, Fresh Produce, Bakery, etc.)
    • Price – in Kwacha, no symbol – e.g. 15.50
    • Stock – how many you have on hand
    • Image – tap Upload Image and pick a photo (or skip for now)
  4. Tap Save.

🎉 You just listed your first product. Repeat this 5–10 times to get the shop looking populated.

Step 3 — Add many products at once (10 minutes) [optional but recommended]

Instead of adding products one by one, you can upload a spreadsheet.

  1. On the Products page, tap Download Template. This gives you a CSV file.
  2. Open the CSV in Excel or Google Sheets.
  3. Fill in one row per product: name, category, price, stock.
  4. Save as CSV and tap Import CSV back in the Products page.
  5. You'll see a green box: "✅ 30 products imported."

💡 Tip: You can add product photos in bulk too. Tap Bulk Images, select all photos at once, and name each file exactly like the product (e.g. Sunlight Soap 500g.jpg).

Step 4 — Upload your logo and cover image (3 minutes)

  1. From the dashboard, tap Store Settings.
  2. Under Hero Cover Image, upload a nice wide photo of your storefront or a shelf.
  3. Save. Now your online store looks branded.

Step 5 — Set your delivery WhatsApp number (2 minutes)

  1. From the dashboard, tap Store Settings (or ask your StoreRuns rep to set it).
  2. Add the WhatsApp number where you want incoming orders to arrive.
  3. Test by clicking the WhatsApp icon on the home page — you should get the message on your phone.

Step 6 — Handle your first order (5 minutes when it comes in)

When a customer places an order, you'll:

A. See it on the dashboard

  1. Tap Fulfillment on the dashboard.
  2. New orders show up at the top with a coloured tag.

B. Confirm it

  1. Open the order. Check the products and total.
  2. Tap Order Confirmed (button at the bottom).

C. Prepare and pack

  1. Pick the items off your shelves.
  2. When ready, tap Order Preparing → then Out for Delivery.

D. Send it out

  1. Tap the WhatsApp icon next to the order. This opens the driver's chat with the delivery details pre-filled.
  2. Send the message. The driver takes it from there.

E. Mark delivered

  1. Once the driver confirms drop-off, tap Order Delivered. Done ✅.

Quick reference — the 5 buttons that matter

ButtonWhen to tap it
🟡 Order ConfirmedYou've seen the order and accept it
🟠 Order PreparingYou're packing it right now
🚚 Out for DeliveryDriver has picked it up
Order DeliveredCustomer received it
💬 WhatsApp iconSend order details to your driver

Troubleshooting (top 5)

  1. "I can't log in." → Ask your StoreRuns rep to reset your password on WhatsApp.
  2. "Product image won't upload." → File must be under 5 MB. Try a smaller photo.
  3. "Customer says the price is wrong." → Update it in Products → the site refreshes automatically.
  4. "I need to add a new category." → Ask StoreRuns to create it – 2-minute turnaround.
  5. "My order didn't come through." → Refresh the Fulfillment page. If still missing, WhatsApp your StoreRuns rep with the customer's name.

Your first-week checklist

  • Day 1: Logo uploaded, hero image set, first 30 products live
  • Day 2: WhatsApp number tested with a test order (place one from your own phone)
  • Day 3: Share your store link on your Facebook / WhatsApp status
  • Day 4–7: Handle real orders. Update prices weekly.
  • Day 7: Send a quick note to StoreRuns with what worked and what didn't – we'll iterate.

Support: WhatsApp your StoreRuns rep any time. We aim to respond within 1 hour during trading hours (07:00–19:00) and by the next morning outside of that.

You've got this. Let's make your first weekend of online orders count. 🚀
